RCA Looking To Catch Crook

RCA First Team welcome Crook Town to the Sunderland LGV Park today (3pm) in their latest Ebac League Division One encounter, knowing that a win would take them above the visitors in the fledgling league table. Crook arrive on the back of two 2-2 away draws (with Bishop Auckland and Northallerton Town), although they did defeat North Ferriby in the Emirates FA Cup last weekend. For RCA manager Dave Dickson is likely to keep faith with the team that performed well for most of Tuesday nights home game with Whitley Bay, although he has additional options with new striker signing Jason Chanayire and the returning Thomas Bott both available. There will be late fitness tests on both Danny Earl and Niall Crosby, who both picked up injuries on Tuesday. Jackson Ward remains sidelined with a hamstring. As usual Defty’s Diner will be open and our new look full colour match programme will be on sale, priced at just £2. Note that there will be a minutes silence ahead of the game for loyal RCA fan Derek Scott, who passed away this week. Please try and arrive early to allow you to observe this tribute.
